Leslie Shuman
Leslie brings over three decades of experience in executive business leadership in the manufacturing industry. During her successful career with Alcoa (Arconic, Inc.), she led a $320M expansion to introduce the production of heat treated aluminum sheet for the automotive market to Alcoa’s plant in Knoxville, TN. Under her leadership, the business integration effort was completed ahead of schedule and on budget, delivering superior results for the organization.
As the Director of Supply Chain, Leslie was responsible for metal procurement, customer service and logistics. Throughout the course of her career, Leslie has worked in a variety of functional disciplines across the rolling business including sales, marketing, planning, customer service, finance, operations, metal procurement and process improvement.
Her true strength lies in operations readiness. Her ability to help clients develop strategic vision, align sales and operations teams and commercialize new assets fully maximizes profits and yields tremendous results.
Leslie also served as Co-chair of Alcoa Women’s Network (AWN) and was active in Alcoa’s Inclusion Council. Additionally, she led an industrial and mechanical engineering advisory board at Penn State for over a decade.

A native of Pittsburgh, Leslie holds a BS in Industrial Engineering from Penn State University and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh. When she is not optimizing operations with her clients, she enjoys hiking, running triathlons, boating and golf.
